According to a study in International Journal of Obesity, those who ate lunch before 3 p.m. lost about 5 pounds more over the course of five months than those who ate after 3 p.m. The study showed that both groups had similar calorie intake, exercise habits, and sleeping habits. Eating so late may mess with your metabolism. If you’re strapped for time, try snacking on something energizing like a peanut butter and banana sandwich or oatmeal.
