We all know that spring time is a time that a lot of people get seasonal allergies. Here are a few ways to beat spring allergies.

1. Treat allergies early – if you know you’re going to have spring allergies, start taking medication for it about a month in advance.

2. Know your over the counter medications – there are three main kinds: decongestants, oral antihistamines, and nosal sprays. Know what each of them do and how they can help you.

3. Control your environment –  I’m not saying to stay inside on a beautiful day because of allergies, but if you know that you’re allergic to pollen, as silly as it may seem, try wearing a medical mask. If you’re allergic on contact with certain things, try staying away from them (ex: I’m allergic to the fertilizer in my town’s fields; playing soccer was a rough few years with the constant falling).

4. See an allergist – Unfortunately, some allergies are severe and you need to see an allergist for the proper prescription. Allergists will perform skin tests to find out to what exactly you are allergic.
